No Unified Standard Yet for Drone EL — How Plant Owners Can Build a Repeatable Acceptance Baseline

ⓘ This article is currently published in Chinese. An English version is being prepared — read the Chinese original.

Drone-based daytime EL inspection is spreading faster than the standards that govern it. Existing IEC documents cover lab EL (IEC 61215 / IEC TS 60904-13) and, more recently, outdoor field EL (IEC TS 62446-4), but none pins down how an unmanned, in-flight, daylight EL survey should be acquired and graded. This article explains where the standards gap sits, the three real risks it creates for plant owners, and a practical way to lock imaging conditions, current injection, grading rules and re-test agreement into an in-house acceptance baseline that stays repeatable even before a formal standard lands.
